Facility Rentals

School District No. 57 works with community partners and local governments to provide space within our schools for early learning, childcare, adult and youth recreation programs, performing arts, and community events.

School District No.57 works together with the municipalities of Prince George, Mackenzie, Valemount and McBride to offer schools gyms and fields to the community for recreation through shared use and community use agreements. Sites that do not fall under these agreements can be booked directly through the site Administrator.

Contact the City of Prince George to book the gym or fields at the John McInnis Centre, Beaverly Elementary, Blackburn Elementary, École College Heights Elementary, Edgewood Elementary, Foothills Elementary, Glenview Elementary, Hart Highlands Elementary, Harwin Elementary, École Heather Park Elementary, Heritage Elementary, École Lac des Bois, Malaspina Elementary, Nusdeh Yoh Elementary, Peden Hill Elementary, Pinewood Elementary, Polaris Montessori Elementary, Quinson Elementary, Ron Brent Elementary, Southridge Elementary Springwood Elementary, Spruceland Elementary, Van Bien Elementary, Vanway Elementary, or Westwood Elementary.

Contact the City of Prince George to book the fields at College Heights Secondary, Duchess Park Secondary, Shas Ti Kelly Road Secondary, DP Todd Secondary, or Prince George Secondary.

For all other Prince George area schools please contact the school directly to book. 

Contact the District of Mackenzie to book the gym, fields, or other facilities at Mackenzie Secondary or Morfee Elementary.

Contact the Village of Valemount to book the gym, fields, or other facilities at Valemount Secondary or Valemount Elementary.

Vanier Hall is a lecture theater attached to Prince George Secondary School, and is managed and operated by Prince George Secondary School and School District No.57. The theater has seating for 498 in the front section, and an additional 290 in the back section.  Vanier Hall is used for educational purposes during school hours, but is open to community and other bookings on evenings, weekends, and during school breaks. It hosts several events over the year including concerts, dance performances and competitions, graduation ceremonies, comedy and theater shows, and more. Where space and the condition of our facilities allows School District No.57 provides long term space to government and community organizations for early learning, child care, offices, meetings, equipment or file storage, and community programs.
